About the Position
The School Bus Driver is responsible for overseeing proper vehicle maintenance, following safety and traffic rules, and maintaining order among students on the bus. The driver must enjoy working with children, have a thorough knowledge of passenger transportation regulations, be meticulous in vehicle inspections, and have a commitment to student and passenger safety.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Ability to set up driving routes, follow the planned route, and schedule departure times and stops.

Monitoring and reporting fuel consumption, mileage, and passenger numbers.
燃料消費量、走行距離、搭乗者数の把握と報告。
Reporting delays, accidents, and emergencies.

Responding to emergency and non-emergency situations.
緊急時、非緊急時の対応。
Inspecting the vehicle thoroughly before and after each trip.
走行前と走行後の車両点検を徹底する。
Assisting with the loading and unloading of the bus when required.

Enforcing conduct and safety rules on the bus.

Maintaining a clean vehicle.

Employees in this classification may be subject to work environments with exposure to weather or interiors with extremes of heat and/or cold, wet and/or humid conditions, high noise levels, and various work-related hazards.

Requirements
A minimum of a High School Diploma is preferred.
高校卒業以上であることが望ましい。
At least three (3) years of proven experience driving any Class One vehicle such as Middle, Semi-Middle, and /or Regular Motor Vehicles.
中型車、準中型車、普通車などの第一種自動車を3年以上運転した実績があること。
Valid Class One Drivers' License required.
有効な第一種運転免許証を所持していること。
Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations within the last five years.
過去5年以内に過失事故や交通違反のない、優良な運転経歴を有すること。
Two or more years of experience working with children is preferred.
2年以上の子どもに関わる実務経験があることが望ましい。
Working knowledge of first aid procedures.
応急処置の知識があること。
Ability to exert up to 40 pounds of force to lift.
約20kgの人や物を持つことができる。
Ability to keep the facility clean, neat, orderly, and sanitized.

This type of work requires occasional or frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reaching for extended periods of time.
時折または頻繁に立ったり、歩いたり、座ったり、屈んだり、長時間手を伸ばしたりできること。
Sufficient manual dexterity and/or mobility to grasp and/or manipulate objects, operate mechanical equipment, and move about the work area.
