September 2022 marked the beginning of the new term and school year at SKA. Time to get back to the school routine with regular classes, activities, park time, and other activities together with our friends.
Japan is well known for occasional earthquakes and potential tsunamis. Because of this, evacuation drills are enacted to train students about how to properly react in this kind of situation. The drills also include training in case of a fire outbreak.
September 30th was the first evacuation drill for both our regular and new students.
Once the students heard the alarm, teachers followed procedure and led their classes out of the building. Everyone put on their protective hats, lined up, and calmly headed to the evacuation spot.
