CIS and SKA organized their Graduation Ceremony together in 2025, bringing families from Tokyo and Shin-Urayasu campuses into a shared celebration of growth, learning, and community.
There’s something unforgettable about watching young children walk across a stage in costume; many of them just a few years ago were taking their very first steps into school life. That contrast filled Tower Hall Funabori as families gathered to celebrate how far the children had come.
With The Wizard of Oz as the theme, the morning reflected the journey of early childhood itself, full of discovery, courage, friendship, and quiet moments of growth.
More Than a Ceremony
Graduation at this stage is not only about certificates. It’s about confidence, independence, and the joy of standing on stage and feeling proud of your journey.
Children who once hesitated now performed and spoke with confidence. Friends supported each other throughout the morning. Every class showed meaningful growth socially, emotionally, and academically.
A Morning of Performances
The program included:
Opening remarks and school song
Ballet performance by preschool and kindergarten students
Nursery songs and first certificate moments
Class certificate ceremonies for preschool and pre-k levels
Kindergarten graduation recognition
Graduation Anthem by Preschool, Pre-Kinder, Kindergarten & Elementary
Closing song bringing the morning to a close
What It Represented
The event reflected the heart of CIS and SKA—learning through community, creativity, and care. Children didn’t just perform; they grew together, supported each other, and shared a collective sense of achievement.
A simple reminder that early education is as much about becoming as it is about learning.
