Sports Day Recap: Teamwork, Confidence, and Fun at Ariake Sports Center

On May 8, CIS and SKA came together to organise Sports Day 2026 at Ariake Sports Center. Students from Nursery through Elementary, along with their families, gathered for a morning filled with energy, teamwork, and celebration.

The event began with an exciting opening ceremony, featuring the Elementary torch run and lively team chants that set the tone for the day. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as families cheered and students got ready for the activities ahead.

A Day Full of Action

The morning was packed with fun and engaging activities designed for students of all ages.

Nursery–Preschool: Ball Collection & Obstacle Course. Our youngest participants joined their parents to collect balls for their teams before moving through a fun obstacle course with footprints, tunnels, balance beams, a parachute section, and a short dash to the finish. Smiles and cheers marked every step of the way.

Carry the Ball Relay: Parents and children worked together to balance a ball using two sticks, moving carefully and communicating with each other to complete the challenge.

Island Game: Families worked as a team as parents placed mats and children stepped across carefully, moving from one “island” to the next.

Giant Balloon Challenge: One of the most memorable moments of the day, where students from all age groups worked together to keep a giant balloon in the air, cheering each other on throughout.

Relay Race: The event wrapped up with a spirited relay race, with students giving their best effort and families cheering loudly from the sidelines.

A Celebration of Togetherness

Sports Day was filled with laughter, encouragement, and shared moments between children, parents, and teachers. From start to finish, the day reflected the joy of coming together as one community.
